OVERVIEW:
Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Biblical Studies Institute (MMBCBSI) offers specialized Bible Study courses to increase spiritual growth. These courses are currently being held via Zoom. These small group bible classes will guarantee a peaceful, respectful, and educational atmosphere for learning God’s Word. Moreover, the small group Bible studies offer a setting that reaches beyond the classroom. These small group Bible studies offer a venue to connect with other believers in Christ. You will have a family network that connects through mutual Christian values, building a community which is growing in Christ.

Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Biblical Studies Institute (MMBCBSI)
The Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Biblical Studies Institute (MMBCBSI) is under the auspices of the Sunday School Publishing Board within the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. (NBC). MMBCBSI is committed to equipping the body of Christ for the up building of God’s kingdom to effectively minister and witness to all persons, sharing the love of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.
The aim of the MMBCBSI Program is to provide a structured training and development of Christian Education in the Baptist faith. Courses taught through the MMBCBSI are designed to benefit Christian educators, pastors and ministers, and individuals who desire to increase their biblical knowledge and proficiency in the work of the Church. These courses will assist students in completing the four (4) phases of the Certificate of Progress Program (COPP).
THE COPP PROGRAM COURSE OFFERINGS PER PHASE:
Each phase in the program must be completed before a student can advance to the next phase. Classes may be taken in any order within a phase, but each phase needs to be completed sequentially within a five-year period. Upon completion of the fourth phase, the student will be issued a Diploma of Christian Education.
OBJECTIVES OF COPP:
To increase biblical knowledge; create an understanding of the Baptist church; provide an educational structure that will develop candidates to be qualified for teaching and leadership positions; provide incentives for the candidates to complete the program; and, produce trained church leaders. Persons enrolled in the certificate program are challenged to meet new objectives and to prepare their skills for teaching.
